We offer a full curriculum for Key Stage 3 preparing students for entry into Key Stage 4 (KS4) where they will have the opportunity to undertake a range of Functional Skills and GCSE accreditations.

Preparation for the world of work and securing sustainable positive progression for every student is a key priority in KS4 and there is a strong focus on providing students with opportunities to take part in vocational courses and work experience throughout Years 10 and 11.

Starting from September 2018 our Curriculum Offer will include GCSE Maths and English, Functional Skills Maths and English, IGCSE Science, GCSE in Art, ICT, Asdan (COPE) and further accreditations in Food Hygiene and First Aid.

Some example schemes of work are below.

Learners are also given guidance regarding online child safety and exploitation. Read the latest information from CEOP about keeping children safe online or to report any concerns regarding online safety.

Year 11 Results 2018-2019

At Oxford Include, we had two students in Year 11 who came late in the academic year. They were both non-attenders from their previous provisions therefore we provided off site education for both students to try and engage them in some form of education. Due to the fact they had not been in education for most of Key Stage 4 we did not feel it was right to enter them for GCSE, as we do not believe in setting up our learners to fail. Working with the two learners we were able to enrol them on a number of work-related online courses which they achieved accreditations for, including Level 1 Food Safety and Hygiene, First Aid Primary Survey and Level 1 Introduction to Business Studies. This has allowed one of the learners to have a sustained positive destination whilst we are working with the other learner still, to ensure they will be in education, employment or training soon.
